Citizen Comments- None 5.1 Presentation ofl Northeast Davie Sewer Project Update Davie County Manager) John Eller, and Davie County Public Utilities Director) Johnny Lambert, along with Jeremy Allen, PE and' Tyler Highfill,PE presented the Council with an update on the Northeast Davie Sewer Project. The current pump station: is at capacity and they fill that the best solution has been reached, which will cause: minimal impact to: residents. The cost estimate has been decreased to date from! $18.2 million to $17.6 million, and construction is planned to begin in November, 2018 through early September, 2020. 6.1 Move to 2018 Council Planning Session 7. Resume Agenda Meeting Items for Proposed. Action A. Community Events in Partnership with the Davie County. Arts Council Town ManagerI Lee Rollins proposed approval of2018 Sounds on the Square and River Walk. Arts Festival entertainment. Estimated cost: $35,850.00. B. 2018 Winston-Salem MPO Call for Projects = Bermuda Run Blue Heron' Trail The Town Manager proposed approval oft the submittal for the Bermuda Run Blue Heron Trail Project to the 2018 Winston-Salem MPO Call for Projects. Thej ptoject would be submitted for funding with Federal Highway STP-DA funds. Ift the project is approved, the Town of Bermuda Run is responsible for administering the project and willl be reimbursed for 80% oft the total project costs. The Town Council must approve the project submittal and agree to pay 20% oft the total project costs. This proposal is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Objective 6, Strategy 6.2 Budget funds annually to complete the Blue Heron Trail, including the pedestrian bridge and tunnel across I-40, and other priority sidewalk segments that will connect different areas ofTown and recreational amenities. The Davie County Commissioners willl hold a public hearing at their February 5,2018 meeting tol hear public comment and consider adopting a resolution naming the portion ofI-40 from the Davie/Forsyth County Line to Mile Marker 177 (NC DOT Rest Stop): inl honor of former Bermuda Run resident, Betsy Cochrane. As the proposed portion ofI-40: runs through the' Town, the County Commissions have asked the Bermuda Run Town Council to consider adoption oft the resolution ati its February 13, 2018' Town Council Meeting. Town Manager Comments Town Manager] Lee Rollins, along with Attorney Brian Williams, provided the Town Council with information regarding the Bermuda Run Country Club opening the Bermuda Run West Clubhouse to the public for both lunch and dinner beginning in March, 2018. The verbiage in the deed from 2010: regarding the gate access does not prevent invited guests from the Country Club from entering. It was stressed that this is a Country Club matter. 13.
