The motion was approved bya vote offive (5) infavor and none opposed. Community Officer Update - SheriffJ.D. Hartman and Officer Jason Robertson Sheriff. Hartman gave an update for July - November, 2018 with call volume and an update on Officer Robertson who has now completed radar certification and active shooter training. Officer Robertson, when asked about what he sees that has changed in the Town since he started almost a year ago as Community Officer, said "People are taking security more seriously." Action Items Public Hearing: Receive Public Comment on the Following Items: TA: 2018-04 Legislative Update and Consistency Text Amendments Administrative text amendments to comply with recent statutory law changes by the North Carolina General Assembly to provide clarity within various sections ofthe Ordinance. Sections 2.1,3.2,3.4(1), 35,423,44,9.1,92 9.54, 11.9, 11.11, and 12.3 of the Zoning Ordinance. Zoning Administrator Erin Burris provided an overview oft the proposed text amendments.
