Bermuda Run Town Council AGENDA MEETING MINUTES Tuesday,June 25, 2019 9:00 a. m. - Town Hall  Council Members Present: Mayor Kenneth Rethmeier, DrPH; Rick Cross, Mike Ernst, Chris Fowler,  John Guglielmi, and Jerry West  Council Members Absent: None  Also Present: 1. Call to Order  Lee Rollins, Town Manager; Cindy Griffith, Town Clerk; Brian Williams, Town. Attorney; DFI Representatives; Claude Thorn, ClubCorp  Mayor Kenneth Rethmeier called the meeting to order.  2. Adoption of the. Agenda  Council Member Mike Emst made a motion to adopt the agenda with Council. Member Cbris Fowler. seconding tbe motion.  The motion was qpproved by a vote offve (5) inj favor and none opposed. 3. Presentation - High Level Site and Financial Analysis for Town Center  Sarah Odio, Project Manager with DFI, presented to the Council. The Council was in unanimous consent for DFI and the Town Stafft to gage the interest oflocal developers regarding the gtowth of  Town Center.  B. Update -) Proposed Eat and West Access Cost Estimates for Town Center Town Manager Lee Rollins shared cost estimates from DOT: regarding the addition of two additional entrances into the Kinderton Business Park. The Town and Hillsdale Gtoup will share the cost. There has not been an official signed intent with DOT, but next step after that will be to bid the project. Discussion about traffic concerns on Hwy. 801 and about speeders endangering  golf cart drivers ensued.  6. Information Items None 7. Council Comments  Rick Cross - Asked Lee Rollins about Leadership Davie"-1 Itis a Davie Chamber project.  Mike Ernst - Sent Crosby info to Jeff Wallace w/ Davie County Schools. Davie Ignite Meeting on July 6. Chris Fowler - Excited about sidewalk on Yadkin Valley Rd and additional entrances at. Kinderton  Commercial.    John Guglielmi - Thanked Stacy Cornatzer and crew for the amazing work on brush/limb pickup (9 loads Jerry West - Thanked Claude Thorn and crew for the removal oft the dead tree at the Package Room. Asked that communication from the Town go out to other residents that have dead trees in their yards, explaining responsiblity/dangers: Appreciative oft thel letter that was mailed on 6/24 to all residents behind the gates that reminded golf cart drivers that they need to have a driver's license (among other things). Mayor Rethmeier - Davie Construction is now using Bermuda Run instead of Advance on their address. Pleased with work done by Stacy Cornatzer and crew on the removal oft the Lelands along Hwy. 801.  on 6/24/19).  Shared that Davie Medical Center is having a hard time finding ancillary staff.  8. Town Manager Comments - Shared update regarding the RISE Sports facility saying that they had met with Wake Forest Baptist Health regarding sponsorship, and that they had aj positive feasibility study.
