Adoption of the Agenda Council Member Mike Ernst made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Council Member Rick Cross seconded the motion. ABC control system for the State ofNorth Carolina. There are conversations within the General Assembly to privatize outlets for the sale of spiritous liquors. Council Member Jerry West made ai motion to create a resolution in support ofthe current. ABC Control System. Capital Project Ordinance - Blue Heron Trail Project to the construction of the Blue Heron Trail. Rick Cross seconded the motion with the motion approved by a vote offive (5) inj favor and none opposed, Appointment ofTom Shapard to the' TDA Board Tom Shapard is the recently appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hampton Inn, Bermuda Run. Tom will fill the TDA Board seat vacated by the former Director of Sales. Council Member. Rick Cross made a motion to appoint Tom Shapard to the TDA Board with Council Member Jerry West seconding the motion. The motion was unanimouslya approved. Jerry West - Asked about the recent news out of Clemmons regarding their "no" vote on the Industrial Park and how it will impact the Town of Bermuda Run. Rick Cross- - The "Aging in Davie County" project is coming along nicely. There will be a presentation at the May Davie County Commissioners' Meeting and he suggested presenting to Council as well. He also shared that there will be a symposium on Friday, March 15 on the changing trends Mayor Rethmeier. - Thanked Town Clerk, Cindy Griffith for the work done on the website, and the mirrored Constant Contact email with the new look and feel.
