Town of Bermuda Run Town Council Meeting Minutes February 12, 2019 -6:00 PM  The Town Council of Bermuda Run held its scheduled meeting on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Council Members Present: Mayor Kenneth. A. Rethmeier, DrPH; Rick Cross, Mike Ernst, John  6:001 PM. The meeting was held at Bermuda Run Town Hall.  Guglielmi, Jerry West, and Chris Fowler  Council Members Absent: None  Also Present: Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance Moment of Silence  Lee Rollins, Town Manager; Brian Williams, Attorney; Cindy Griffith,  Town Clerk  Mayor Kenneth Rethmeier called the meeting to order.  It is the intent oft the Town Council to solemnize the proceedings ofthis meeting and the business brought before the governing board, to offer the opportunityfor a reflective moment ofsilence. Citizens' Comments - None Action Item:  Town Landscape Maintenance Contract  Town Manager Lee Rollins brought forth consideration of three submittals for the Request for Proposal and selection of one firm tol begin effective February 13, 2019 and last through 2022. The three bids received were from Blakely Landscaping Service, The Budd Group, and Land-Tek. Council members were in agreement that the services currently being provided from Blakely were exceptional. The Mayor reminded the Council that Blakley was the company that did the landscaping at the Davie Council Member John Guglielmi made a motion to select Blakley. Landscaping. for the landscape maintenance contract. Council. Member. Jerry West. seconded the motion with the motion approved by  Medical Center, and how well that was done. avote offive (5) inj favor and none opposed.    Council & Mayor Comments Chris Fowler-1 No comment.  Rick Cross - Was very pleased with the well-attended Mayor's Breakfast on February 7. Said it was a Mike Ernst - Agreed with Rick about the Mayor's breakfast. Says he feels that the: roundabout on John Guglielmi - Expressed concern about the recent incidents at the traffic circle that have caused damage to the landscaping (rocks). Suggested putting a camera at the circle that would possibly catch offenders and send them bills for repairs. (Note- Town Manager is going to approach NC: DOT about Jerry West - Suggested that the Mayor's Breakfast be held twice a year instead ofjust once; he'd like Mayor Rethmeier - Thanked Rick Cross for setting up the presentation by Wildfire at the February 7  good representation oft the business leaders in the community.
