Town of Bermuda Run Town Council Meeting Minutes January 8, 2019 - 6:00 PM  The Town Council of] Bermuda Run held its scheduled meeting on' Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 6:00 Council Members Present: Mayor Kenneth A. Rethmeier, DrPH; Rick Cross, Mike Ernst, and Chris  PM. The meeting was. held at Bermuda Run Town Hall.  Fowler  Council Members Absent: Jerry West and John Guglielmi  Also Present: Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance Moment of Silence  Lee Rollins, Town Manager; Sally Strohacker, Attorney; Cindy Griffith,  Town Clerk  Mayor Kenneth Rethmeier called the meeting to order.  Iti is the intent of the Town Council to solemnize the proceedings of this meeting and the business brought before the governing board, to offer the oppertmidy/orarfleaine moment ofsilence.  Adoption of the Agenda  Council Member Mike Ernst made ai motion to approve the agenda as presented. Council Member. Rick Cross seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote ofthree (3) infavor and none opposed. Council Member Rick Cross made a motion to approve the minutesf from the December 11, 2018 Council Meeting. Council. Citizens' Comments  Lance Featherngill of210 Tifton Street, Bermuda Run spoke to the Council regarding his concerns about the safety ofthe "traffic circle". He stated that hel had almost been hit in his vehicle several times, and that with the increased traffic in the area due to the I-40 widening, that DOT: needs to revisit  putting a stoplight on Hwy. 158 in its place. Overview ofTax Values in Bermuda Run  Presentation  Davie County Tax Administrator, Brian Myers and Davie County Property Assessment Manager, Mike  Beck provided an overview oft the Town's tax valuations.  Action Items None    Council & Mayor Comments Chris Fowler - No comment  Rick Cross Appreciates the tax presentation.  Mike Ernst - Thanked Stacy Cornatzer and his crew: for great work in getting up the brush and limbs. Mayor Rethmeier - Found the tax presentation very informative and said he feels the Town should support growth and development.
