Council Members Present: Mayor Rick Cross, Curtis Capps, Heather Coleman, Mike Ernst, Chris Fowler, and Ken Peacock Council Members Absent: None Also Present: 1. Election Update and Stormwater Presentation by Warwicke Resident Gary LeBlanc Gary LeBlanc is Board Chair for the Davie County Board of Elections. He provided the election timeline for registration, absentee ballots, one-stop early voting, and the November: 3 election day. He shared that workers are needed and they can contact the Board of Elections; Aj presentation was made regarding stormwater and the significant flooding that occurred on August 6, 2020. Residents Lou Valente and' Tom Brady were also in attendance. Letters were shared from other affected residents. It was made clear that the issue is not solely the Town's responsibility, but that oft the homeowners, the Town, and the Country Club. Town Manager Lee Rollins will work with the Town Attorney and John Grey Engineering to present more information at the September Council. Agenda Meeting. Mayor Rick Cross stressed, and Mr. LeBlanc agreed that there is not an easy fix to the problems. Attorney Brian Williams shared that there are. legal aspects to the whole situation public VS. private property. B. Bermuda Run Tourism Development Authority Overview by Scott Wollaston- .R Reappointment ofTal Brown to the' Triad Municipal ABC Board training is required. **Mr. Wollaston did not attend the meeting. Wel have been advised from the Triad. ABC Board that Mr. Brown's three-year term as a Bermuda Run representative on the Board has expired. He is eligible for another three-yeat term. The Town Manager shared Mr. Brown's impressive resume and recommended thatTal Brown of 232 Spyglass Drive be reappointed to a second term as Bermuda Run's representative Council Member Mike Emst made a motion for Tal Bromn to be reappointed as Bermuda Rim'si representative to the Triad Mumicipal ABC.
