(Winmock Rd.) The Town ofl Bermuda Run received a request from. Ariston Place LLC to permanently close Peachtree Lane Ext. (Winmock Road) as part oft the Ariston development project. Mayor Cross Opened the. Public. Hearing Mike Kelley of 290 James Way clarified that the thoroughfare in conjunction with the. Ariston project, which willl be newly named "Ariston Way" willl be private but publicly accessible. Itwill give customers of Walgreens and Dr. Carter's Dental office a better route to the respective places ofbusiness. Development on the project should start within the next few weeks. Items for Consideration The TDA Board was established by the' Town Council Resolution to be compromised ofi nol less than three (3) members and no more than seven (7) members. State law requires the one-third (1/3) oft the seats shall be reserved fori individuals affiliated with business that collects tax with in the Town and one half (1/2) of the seats shall be reserved for individuals who are active inj promoting travel and tourism in the Town. The Current TDA Board Members: Chair- Scott Wollaston, Executive Director, Twin City Soccer; Wayne Thomas, WinMock; Jeffery Woods; Hampton Inn; Andrew Meadwell, Town of] Bermuda Run, Ex-officio member; Caroline Moser, Davie County Chamber of Commerce, Ex-officio member.
