Call to Order  Andrew Meadwell, Town Manager; Cindy Poe, Town Clerk; Brian Williams,  Town Attorney  Mayor Rick Cross called the meeting to order.  2. Adoption of the Agenda  Mayor Rick Cross made ai motion. to remove Item 7B (Resolution forLee) Rollins) to a discussion item. Council Member Mike Erst made ai motion to adopt the agenda as amended. August 23, 2022 Agenda Meeting Minutes  Coumcil Member Curtis Capps made a motion to approve the. August 23, 2022. Agenda Meeting minutes. Council Member Melinda Szeliga. seconded the motion. The motion was qpproved by a vote offour (4) inj favor and none opposed.  5. Citizen Comments - NONE 6. Proposed Action Items  A. Public Hearing to Consider an Order to Close Peachtree Lane Ext. (Winmock Rd.) The Town ofl Bermuda Run received a request from. Ariston Place LLC to permanently close Peachtree  Lane Ext. (Winmock Road) as part oft the Ariston development project.  Mayor Cross Opened the. Public. Hearing  Mike Kelley of 290 James Way clarified that the thoroughfare in conjunction with the. Ariston project, which willl be newly named "Ariston Way" willl be private but publicly accessible. Itwill give customers of Walgreens and Dr. Carter's Dental office a better route to the respective places ofbusiness.  Development on the project should start within the next few weeks.  Mayor Cross Closed the. Public. Hearing  Council MemberMike. Brannon made a motion to approve the Resolution as presented. Council. Member Curtis Capps  seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote offour (4) inj favor and none opposed. Bermuda Run Tourism Development Authority Appointments  7. Items for Consideration  The TDA Board was established by the' Town Council Resolution to be compromised ofi nol less than three (3) members and no more than seven (7) members. State law requires the one-third (1/3) oft the seats shall be reserved fori individuals affiliated with business that collects tax with in the Town and one half (1/2) of    the seats shall be reserved for individuals who are active inj promoting travel and tourism in the Town. The Current TDA Board Members: Chair- Scott Wollaston, Executive Director, Twin City Soccer; Wayne Thomas, WinMock; Jeffery Woods; Hampton Inn; Andrew Meadwell, Town of] Bermuda Run, Ex-officio member; Caroline Moser, Davie County Chamber of Commerce, Ex-officio member.  Town Manageri is an ex-officio member oft the Board.  The BR TDA is requesting the following to be considered for appointments:  Drew, Stevens- - RISE, Landon Lynch- - Atrimm Wake. Forest Baptist/Davie Medical Center; Janice Kartbanas- Hampton Im, Dora. Robertson- - Tomn of Bermuda. Ram, (Ex-oficio. Member) Scott Wollaston, Wayne Tbomas, Tefery Woods; Caroline. Moser, and. Andrew Meadwell (ex-oficio)  The folloving to be re-appointed:  Council Member Mike. Brannon made ai motion to approve the recommended appointments and m-appointments.
