Council Member Heather Coleman made ai motion adopt the agenda as amended. Council Member Melinda Szeliga. seconded tbe motion. The motion. was approved by a vote off four (4) inj favor and none opposed. 3. Approval of the. April 26, 2022 Agenda Meeting Minutes Council Member Mike Brannon made a motion to approve tbe Apri/26, 2022 Agenda Meeting minutes. Council Member Curtis Capps seconded tbe motion. Update from the Bermuda Run Community Vision Fund Committee Christy Schafer and Sharon Reid presented updates on progress being made with the committee. June 14 at 5:30 pm (prior to the Council Meeting), the Christmas tree will be dedicated to the December 4- Christmas in Bermuda Run - Year 2. More horses and carriages, stage and audio Flag Project -3 3 flags as you enter Davie County on Blue Heron Trail near Winmock with a kneeling wall similar to the one around the Obelisk at the Roundabout. Bricks will be sold in honor/memory ofloved ones to raise money. Wayne Thomas' group as agreed to lower/maintain flags. Request from Golfview Homeowners Association Board ofI Directors Mike Leamon, President oft the Golfview Homeowners Association, is requesting consideration fora sign on Golfview Drive restricting vehicles of three axels or less. After discussion, it was agreed to have the HOA review the concerns regarding these vehicles driving on this road when residents ask for zoning approval from the HOA when having improvements done at their residence. B. Discuss Suggested "High Risk" Opportunity Segments of Riverbend Drive Loop Sidewalk Asaf follow-up from the April 26, 2022 Council. Agenda Meeting, the estimate for surveying and engineering to create construction documents for bidding, as per the attached map, is approximately $28,000.00. Council Member Mike Brannon, who provided a map of sidewalk segment priorities, stated Coumcil Member Melinda. The motion was approved by a vote offour (4) in favor and one year to. his current term. none opposed. Discussion Items Budget considerations for Town Manager transition plan. Paving priorities using Powell Bill funds; Mayor Rick Cross requested that the hourly rate and retainer for Town Attorney Brian Williams be evaluated. His fees have not changed. in 15 years. Brian Williams will present a proposal to the Town utilizing ARPA funds toward salaries as well as the Blue Heron Trail. Council. 7. Council / Mayor Comments Reminder regarding Public Input Session at the Granary at Winmock tomorrow from noon - 7 pm. Discussion regarding Davie County Library locker being installed next door at the Community College extension office. Mayor gave update about Bermuda Run Cares 5K and possible community yard sale at Town Center in September. 8.
