Citizens Comments - Robert Morgan (Petitioner) with Homes Urban discussed the purchase ofland and plans for the Melissa Tomallo of Pinewood Lane lives on the back side of the proposed apartments. She provided the Council a Power Point presentation showing current water runoffi issues from the I-40 Diane Pfundstein of Brookstone Drive provided a petition with 415: tesident names who are Matt Carr of Sweetwater Circle spoke against the rezoning - adding that if the Council Members Timothy Deegan spoke against the rezoning by quoting from BERMUDA'" website. Jim Fulghun ofTown Park discussed the Comprehensive Plan during is statements of opposition to Colleen Symmes - Kinderton Village resident of over 16 years spoke against the rezoning, saying the property. Juniper Pump Station Renovation and WWTP Removal Contract 2-Recommendation of Contract 2: involves renovating thei influent pump station and decommissioning the wastewater treatment plant. It was publicly advertised on March 3, 2022. Only one bid was received on March 29, 2022. The project was re-bid for opening on April 7, 2022. Only one bid was received. A negotiated price of $1,552,653 was confirmed. The Town Engineer and Town Manager recommend awarding the Council Member Heather Coleman. made ai motion to award the contract to Brushy Moumtain, Inc. C.A AC Capital Project Ordinance for the Juniper Pump Station Renovation and' WWTP Removal Aj project ordinance is required for accounting purposes to properly track sources and uses of fund for the contractually approved project. The Town Manager recommends revenue in the amount of $1,785,550.00 from Utility Fund Balance. The Town Manager recommends expenditures in the amount of$1,785,550.00, which include payment of $1,552,653.00 to Brushy Mountain, Inc., and $232,897 for Council Member Mike Erst made ai motion to approve the Capital.
