REVIEW OF MINUTES: Minutes ofthe Regular Meeting of October 5, 2021 were 4. Councilman Forney is speaking with MC Board of Education officials concerning security cameras at the Board office property to assist 3. PLANNING COMMISSION: Mayor Merki has expressed interest in being appointed with policing issues at the North Berkeley Park. to the Bath Planning Commission. Webster/Chapman Carried. MOTION: To appoint Mayor Merki to the Bath Planning Commission- An initial organizational meeting is to be held soon. 4. RAIL/TRAIL: The next meeting is October 27. Pete Brown has submitted his 5. TRAIN DEPOT: Chairman McCracken met with the Finance/Grant Committee to explain the matching funds financial security available to this project through donated real estate appraisal. The Depot account currently has approximately $8,000.00 in other funds acquired through projects and donations. The Haz Mat project bid award company will be announced when the WV: DOH has completed their assessment. 7. LANDMARK COMMISSION: Council Forney has been able to speak with SHPO officials regardingthe progress ofthe reimbursement of the $11,000.00 loan from the Town to HLC, He was assured that it will be received within a couple weeks. progress report to the Town office. 1 8. CLERK/RECORDER REPORT: The WV Auditor's Office Municipal training is. October 26. Court Clerk training is October 25 and Traffic Court training is October 9. FINANCE: Chairman Webster presented the following reviewed bills for approval: (A) Town of Bath $17,901.65- Motion to approve: Fome/Chapman-Camicd. (B) BSWW $62,201.32- Motion to approve: Forney/Chapman- Carried. (C) Phase IV Water Project $623.70- Motion to approve: Forney/Chapman- Carried.. (D) Rail/Trail $188.50- Motion to approve: Forney/Chapman- Carried. (E) Greenway Cemetery $128.43- Motion to approve: Forney/Chapman- Carried. Water Chairman Chapman added that the Phase IV Water Project bill is reimbursable The Finance Committee meetings ofOctober 18 & 19 included discussion ofresearch'into the cost of an annexation study, cemetery risk management repairs, flood plain map resurvey, budget comparison shortfalls and ARPA fund distribution. 10.TREE BOARD: The next meeting is October 27. Councilwoman Skinner explainedthat that Andy Swaim and Kate Lehman are assisting homeowners with tree issues. 11.GRANT: The next meeting is November 15. Grant files need organizing. 12.PUBLIC SAFETY: There will be two. Reserve Deputies and BSPD Officers on duty during 13.
