REVIEW OF MINUTES: Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 1, 2022 were 5. COMMUNICATIONFROMMAYOR: The Mayor presented a Certificate of Appreciation given by the Main Street America Coordinating Program for Bath's Councilwoman Skinner will again organize the WV DEP Make It Shine Program for Bath. The dates selected for the clean-up event will be Saturday, April 2nd Elizabeth Skinner (X) Greg Forney (X) Rick Weber (X) Quorum present. approved by Common Consent. 4. PERSONS BEFORE COUNCIL: None at this time. participation in the ON' TRAC: Program, with Saturday, April 9th as the rain date. COMMITTEE AND BOARD REPORTS 1. BATHDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY: Nextm meeting is March 2, 2022 at 4:30pm. 2. PARKS & REC: Next meeting is February 16, 2022. No report at this time. 3. PLANNING COMMISSION: Next meeting is March 3, 2022. Members Larry Landon and Dave O'Connell are active with the Friends of the North Berkeley Rail/Trail. Mr. Landon described a calendar of events they are planning for cleanup 4. RAIL/TRAIL: Committee Co-Chairman Pete Brown has submitted progress reports 5. STREBISCAPB; Committee Co-Chair Pete Brown has submitted reports to the Town office. The Committee has published the RFQ for engineering design services 6. TRAIN DEPOT: Recorder Webster advised Council that the Haz Mat work on the Depot was completed on February 14. The Pre-bid Construction meeting for the Interior Rehab of the Depot will be February 17 at 10am. Bid opening is scheduled 8. CLERK/RECORDER REPORT: Clerk Corrick reported that the Hotel/Motel Grant applications are available and are due by February 28, Recorder Webster reported that she has provided Daryl Cowles, Representative ofthe Governor's Office, with a more detailed cost estimate oft the Wilkes Street Rehab Project. 9. FINANCE: Chairman Webster presented the following bills for approval. (a) Town of Bath $13,943.43- Motion to approve: Fomey/Weber-Caried No report at this time. and advancement ofthat project. to the Town office. since being given Council consent at the February 1 meeting. for March 3 at 2pm. 7. LANDMARK COMMISSION: No report at this time. 1 (b) BS Water $61,752.69- Motion to approve: Forney/Weber- Carried (c) NBRT $800.00-Motion to approve: Forney/Weber- Carried 10.TREE BOARD: Next meeting is February 16. An update will be provided at thei next 11.PUBLIC SAFETY: Committee Member Chapman advised Council that the Committee 12.PUBLIC WORKS: Chairman Weber reported that Crew Leader Steiner was out early Sunday morning working due to the inclement weather, but all streets were soon cleared. 14.CEMETERY: Chairwoman Skinner told Council that mowing for the next growing 16.BERKBLEY SPRINGS WATER WORKS: The: next meeting is March 7 at 4:30pm. Chairman Chapman reported that April Fischer has been hired by the BSWW for work with the distribution aspect of the utility. The Phase IV Water Line Replacement Project is moving forward in spite of difficulties with acquiring materials. A full day oftraining on the Appalachian Software was conducted by that company for the education of the meeting, isv working on an amended business license ordinance. 13.ORDINANCE: No report at this time, season is being planned. 15.GRANT: No: report at this time.
