TOWN OF AURORA, NC BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MINUTES January 4, 2021 Meeting A regular meeting of the Aurora Town Board of Commissioners was held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, January 4, 2021, at the Town Hall. Mayor Williams called the meeting to order with the following present: Officials Present: Commissioners Present: [X] Clif Williams, Mayor [X] Coley. Jordan [X] Brad Lee [X] Jeff Peed [X] Tina Taylor Attendance: [X] Judi Lannon -Town Clerk/Finance Officer (Quarantined-Via Teleconference), [X] Chuck Bonner - Public Works Director [X] Curt Hendrix - Recreation Coordinator [X] Various members of the public were in attendance Mayor Williams led the Pledge of Allegiance and Commissioner Peed led in prayer. A motion to approve the proposed Agenda was made by Commissioner. Jordan and seconded by Commissioner Taylor with a 41 to Ovote. There was no citizen participation during the public comment period. Under Board Comments the Mayor gave an update on the Aurora Industrial Park project. The project engineer had the findings of the ACOE and DEQ sit visit in November. The usable "uplands" had been reduced to by roughly seven acres. The engineer has created an updated site plan that would now have to be reapproved but the project is moving forward. Once approved, the price of land could be settled and they would begin selling lots to contractor companies. There being no further business, the.
