MINUTES  FORSYTH COUNTY CIVIL SERVICE BOARD REGULAR MEETING AND HEARING THURSDAY,JUNE 13, 2024, AT 10:00 A.M. FORSYTH COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX 3520 Settingdown Road, Cumming, GA 30028  Present: Jerry Bowman, Chairman; Terry Smith, Vice Chairman; John Mullin, Member; Kathy  Echols, Clerk  Absent: Jack Allen, Alternate Member; Richard Neville, Counsel  I.  Calll Meeting to Order  Chairman Bowman called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.  II. Adoption of Agenda  There was ai motion to adopt the agenda as presented by Mr. Smith with a second by Mr.  Mullin. Motion passed unanimously.  III. Adoption of Minutes  Regular Meeting - May 9, 2024  There was ai motion to adopt thei minutes oft the May 9, 2024, meeting as presented by Mr. Mullin with a second by Mr. Smith. Motion passed unanimously.  IV. Items for consideration and discussion:  (1) Attorney Updates - Richard Neville, General Counsel/Hearing Officer Inl Mr. Neville's absence, Ms. Echols stated she had not been given any updates by (2) Administrative Updates - Kathy Echols, Civil Service Board Clerk Ms. Echols stated an informal appeal had been filed with Sheriff Freeman on June 5th (3) Schedule Civil Service Appeal Hearing for. Joslyn Bair, Animal Shelter There was ai motion by Mr. Smith with a second by Mr. Mullin to hold thel hearing for Ms. Bair on' Thursday, July 11th, and Monday, July 15th,ifas second day was needed following the regular meeting which will begin at 9:30 a.m. Motion passed (4) Schedule Civil Service. Appeal Hearing for Dale Henderson, FCSO  Mr. Neville.  and the response was due on June 19th.  unanimously.  There was ai motion by Mr. Smith with a second by Mr. Mullin to hold thel hearing for Mr. Henderson on Thursday, August gth, following the regular meeting which will  begin at 9:30 a.m. Motion passed unanimously. Adjourn  There was ai motion by Mr. Smith with a second by Mr. Mullin to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed unanimously.
