Call to Order Mayor Turner called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Mayor Turner introduced his 5-year-old daughter, Hallie James, and his son, Weston, who was celebrating his 10th birthday, as his assistants for the meeting. O Infrastructure Phaselof Cemetery Street waterline replacement. Survey complete. Construction easement under preparation for Ash Feed Store. Due June 15th DDA met and discussed assisting downtown businesses to find and retain employees through the Chamber Talent Pipeline Program and BOE Teacher Training Grant. Resolution 2024-12 Disposition of surplus vehicles and other surplus items Mr. Harris stated that this request is for the disposal (sale, trade, auction, scrap, etc.) of 19 vehicles and scrap items. Purchase of 2023 Iconic Silver Ford Expedition, $54,820, for the Police within the next few weeks. items. Department-Funding Source: SPLOSTIV Mr. Harris stated that this purchase will be through one of the five state vendors as recommended by the State DOAS. He said Wade Ford is the closest one to Cleveland, and this vehicle is at' Wade Ford. Mr. Harris also stated that the vehicle will need equipment in the amount of $8,000. Motion by Council Member Sutton, seconded by Council Member McDonald, and voted, unanimously, to approve the purchase of the 2023 Iconic Silver Ford Expedition for $54,820 and the equipment outfitting for $8,000 with funding from SPLOSTIV. 14. FY2024/2025 Auditor - Wayne Tuck, Walker Pierce & Tuck Mr. Harris stated that the agreement requires a 7% increase over the current, FY2023/2024 agreement. He also stated that Cleveland Building Authority will be a Motion by Council Member McDonald, seconded by Council Member McClure, and voted,unanimously. to award the FY2024/2025 audit to Wayne Tuck of Walker Pierce &Tucki in the amount of $27,950 or less and $5,500 for each single audit needed. 15. Supplemental Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) funding Mr. O'Bryant stated that Cleveland is eligible for $68,183.33 with no match requirement. Mr. O'Bryant proposed applying for the funds by the deadline of June 15, for the purpose of repairing the culverts on. Jess Hunt Road as GDOT has identified those culverts as needing to be replaced within the next two years.
