Attorney Lisa Bickel, County Clerk  Upon the manager's calling the roll, with all Commission members present, Chairman Coffey called the Public: Hearing IIC ofthe Commission ofthe Unified Government ofCusseta- Chattahoochee County, Georgia to order at 6:00 p.m. and livestreaming on Facebook. CHAIRMAN COFFEY stated that the: millage rate would be staying the same as thej previous year of 2022 and 2020, which was 8.502. He: stated that the newspaper can be misleading. That ifthere was an increase in taxes it was due to an appraisal value increase, he also noted that the  school went down from last year to 17.010. COMMENTS BY COMMISSIONERS: homestead credit on their tax bill. ADJOURNMENT:  With no one tos speak CHAIRMAN COFFEY closed public forum.  Just that property owners that already had homestead as of April 1,2023 would receivea  AN Motion was made to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Frost madei the Motion, seconded by Chairman Hoyte. The vote to adjourn the meeting was unanimous. There being no furtherbusiness tol be conducted by and with the Commission oft the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chatahoochee County, Chairman Coffey declared the Board of Commission Public Hearing II adjourned at 6:071 p.m., August 28, 2023.
