APPROVAL OF MINUTES- February 24, 2022 ON A MOTION MADE BY SENATOR FONTANA AND SECONDED BY MS. MCCORMICK BARRON THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED. RATIRICATION OF BILLS Senator Fontana reviewed the Ratification ofBills Payable for the month of February 2022 and found them tol be in good and proper order. ON A MOTION MADE BY MS. MCCORMICK BARRON AND SECONDED BY SENATOR FONTANA THE RATIFICATION OF THE BILLS WAS APPROVED AS PRESENTED PUBLIC COMMENTS OLD BUSINESS A. ALLEGHENY COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE & TOURISM FUND (CITF)-5 POINTS PROJECT Request Authorization to: (i) change the scope oft the project from equipment and supplies to rehabilitation and (ii) allow the Director to execute the necessary documents with Solicitor approval. ALLEGHENY VACANT PROPERTY RECOVERY PROGRAM (AVPRP)- 2021 Request authorization to: (i) amend the 2021 Agreement with the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County (RAAC) to reflect an increase of $27,457.23 for ai total amount not to exceed $227,457.23; and (ii) allow the Director to execute the necessary documents with Solicitor approval. B. SITE DEVELOPMENT FUND-GRANT. AWARDS Request authorization to: (i) award seven (7) grants under the Department's American Rescue Plan Act allocation for an amount not to exceed $12,000,000; and (ii) allow thel Director to execute necessary documents with Solicitor approval. ALLEGHENY VACANT PROPERTY RECOVERY PROGRAM (AVPRP)- Request authorization to: (i) accept a grant in the amount of $200,000 for the Allegheny Vacant Property Recovery Program (AVPRP) from the approved 2022 Allegheny County Operating Budget; (ii) enter into an Agreement with Allegheny County to administer and operate the Allegheny Vacant Property Recovery Program with the funding awarded; and (iii) allow the Director to ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT execute the necessary documents with Solicitor approval.
