REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY  MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR and PUBLIC: HEARING  ALLEGHENY COUNTY ECONOMICDEVELOPMENT  Board Room, Suite 900 MAY 26, 2022 2:00 p.m.  Chatham One, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  The Regular Meeting and Public Hearing of the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County was held, via teleconference, on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 2:00 p. m. in Allegheny County Economic Development's Board Room, Chatham One, Suite 900, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, Board Members present were: William Brooks, Councilman Walton, Peg McCormick Barron and Also present were: Lance Chimka, Director; Steve Papernick, Authority Solicitor; Jack Exler, Senior Deputy Director; Susheela Nemani-Stanger, Deputy Director; Samuel Bozzolla, Authorities Coordinator; Beth O'Donnell, Marketing Coordinator; Shellye Webster, Administrative Assistant  Pennsylvania 15219.  Senator Fontana, (all via teleconterence)  ROLL CALL  The meeting was called to order, roll was called, and a quorum was present.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES - April 28, 2022  ON A MOTION MADE BY COUNCILMAN WALTON AND SECONDED BY MS. MCCORMICK BARRON THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING WERE  APPROVED AS PRESENTED.  RATIFICATION OF BILLS  Senator Fontana reviewed the Ratification of Bills Payable for the month of April, 2022 and found them to be in good and proper order.  ON A MOTION MADE BY COUNCILMAN WALTON AND SECONDED BY MS. MCCORMICK BARRON THE RATIFICATION OF THE BILLS WAS APPROVED  AS PRESENTED    PUBLIC COMMENTS  There were no public comments  OLD BUSINESS  NOOLDBUSINESS  NEW BUSINESS  A.  ALLEGHENY VACANT PROPERTY RECOVERY PROGRAM AVPRP-PARTICIPAION BY BOROUGH OF MONROEVILLE Request authorization to: (1) allow the Borough ofMonroeville to participate int the County' 's AVPRP; (ii) allow RAAC to receive funds from the Borough or entities authorized by the Borough for the purpose of paying for all costs associated with acquiring properties through the AVPRP; and (iii) allow the Director to execute all the necessary documents with Solicitor approval. ON A MOTION MADE BY SENATOR FONTANA AND SECONDED BY MS. MCCORMICK BARRON THE ABOVE REQUEST  WAS APPROVED AS PRESENTED.  B.  ALLEGHENY VACANT PROPERTY RECOVERY PROGRAM AVPRP)-CERIFCATES OF COMPLETION Request authorization to: (i). approve Certificates of Completion for eight properties in the municipalities of Coraopolis, North Braddock, and South Park, which were transferred through the Allegheny Vacant Property Recovery Program; and (ii) allow the Director to execute the necessary  documents with Solicitor approval. ALLEGHENY VACANT PROPERTY RECOVERY PROGRAM (AVPRP) Request authorization to: (i) approve various resolutions related to the Allegheny Vacant Property Recovery Program for properties located in the municipalities of East Pittsburgh, Etna, Marshall, Moon, Mount Oliver, Penn Hills, Rankin, Ross, Scott, Stowe, Wilkinsburg, and Wilmerding (ii) allow the Director to execute the necessary documents with Solicitor approval. ON Al MOTION MADE BY SENATOR FONTANA AND SECONDED BY MS. MCCORMICK BARRON THE ABOVE REQUEST WAS  APPROVED AS PRESENTED.  ADJOURNMENT  THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS TO TRANSACT, ON A MOTION MADE BY SENATOR FONTANA, AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN WALTON THE ADJOURNMENT OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF ALLEGHENY  COUNTY WAS UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
