Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County Board ofDirectors Meeting Minutes Koppers Building, 436 Seventh Avenue, Suite 600 August 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM, Confluence Room  Pittsburgh, PA 15219  The Regular Meeting and Public Hearing of the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County was held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 2:00 pm. in the Confluence Room, Koppers Building, 436 Seventh Board Members participating were: Senator Fontana, Councilman Walton, Peg McCormick Barron, and Also participating were: Lance Chimka, Director; Simone McMeans, Deputy Director; Steve Papernick, Authorities Solicitor; Beth O'Donnell, Marketing Coordinator; Jim Johnston, Assistant Director Operations; Keilah Boyles, Project Manager; Ray Englert, Project Manager; Ann Ogoreuc, Assistant Director, Mobility and Transportation Initiatives; Lainey Smearman, Executive Office Manager  Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15219.  Jason Markovich  ROLL CALL:  The meeting was called to order, the roll was called, and a quorum was present  APPROVAL OF MINUTES- July 27th, 2023  ON A MOTION MADE BY COUNCILMAN WALTON AND SECONDED BY MR. MARKOVICH, THE MINUTES OF THEI PREVIOUS MEETING WERE. APPROVED AS PRESENTED  RATIFICATION OF BILLS  Senator Fontana reviewed the Ratification of Bills Payable for July, 2023 and found them in good and  proper order  ONAM MOTION MADE BY MR. MARKOVICH. AND SECONDED BY MS. MCCORMICK BARRON, THE RATIFICATION OF THE BILLS WAS APPROVED AS PRESENTED  PUBLIC COMMENTS:  THERE WERE NO PUBLIC COMMENTS  OLD BUSINESS:  NOOLDBUSINESS    NEW BUSINESS:  A. ALLEGHENY COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUNDS  Request authorization to accept and administer Economic Development Grant funds ON Al MOTION MADE BY COUNCILMAN WALTON AND SECONDED BY MS. MCCORMICK BARRON, THE. ABOVE REQUEST WAS APPROVED  totaling $354,773.66: from the County  AS PRESENTED  B. VERLAND COMMUNITYLIVING ARRANGEMENTS (CLA) Request authorization to submit one application to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for assistance under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital ON A MOTION MADE BY MS. MCCORMICK BARRON AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN WALTON, THE. ABOVE REQUEST WAS APPROVED  Program for an amount not to exceed $500,000  AS PRESENTED  C. POWER CAMPUS: 2-PITTSBURGH  Request authorization to combine POWER Campus Project and the POWER Campus 2 Project into one and combine the first grant and second grant into one for a total  grant amount not to exceed $3,000,000.00 from RACP  ON A MOTION MADE BY SENATOR FONTANA AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN WALTON, THE ABOVE REQUEST WAS APPROVED AS  PRESENTED  D. ABOVE REQUEST WAS APPROVED AS PRESENTED F.A ALLEGHENY VACANT PROPERTY RECOVERY PROGRAM (AVPRP) Request authorization to re-approve a resolution related tot the.
