Jeff King): Problem at 449 Brown St. Parking problem Code Enforcement (Mike Garlowich): 3certified mails sent. 2 problems resolved. Streets/Public Works (Chuck Leighty): Grass cutting underway. Street Signs going in.  blocking VFD egress from station.  - Utilities (Joe Lane): No Report.  Sewage. Authority (Mindy Dugger): No Report.  Sanitation/Safety (Jason Frazier): Working with NEI on Boro A/R and bad debt.  Animal Control (Sam Vargo): 2 calls. 106. Jones St and Hill St.  Parks/Recreation (Mindy Dugger): Grass being cut. Basketball hoops torn down. Not  being replaced at this time.  Budget/Finance (Hope Peterson): Motion to pay bills. - Junior Council Report (Christina Dugger): No report.  Unfinished Business  1. Storm Water Drain repairs project update.  Notice to proceed signed. Anticipated start date May 15t-14th. Jason Frazier motions to authorize EADS to inspect new infrastructure prior to covering with maximum cost of $3,500 without Borough approval. Motion seconded by Chuck Leighty. Motion carried. Update on Street Signs upgrade project. Only 11 signs left to go. 4. Update on concrete pad for new: storage bldg. To be completed in May. 5. Update on Everson's: 2024 Community Day. Scheduled for Sunday. July 21, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 6p.m. at the former fairgrounds. Two batches of donation requests mailed out.  Donations starting to come in.  Jason Frazier motions to purchase a dump truck load oft top soil to fix ruts on ball field in advance of Community Day event. Seconded by  Hope Peterson. Motion carried.  6. 2024 Street Paving Project Update. Chuck Leighty to coordinate with PennDOT.  New Business  1. Tim Pisula vacation schedule. 2. Brush Hog - Buy or Rent.  Jason Frazier motions to hire 3rd party contractor to deal with brush near Millers to RR tracks at a cost not to exceed $2K. Motion seconded Chuck Leighty motions to hire Miller Painting to paint interior front office and conference room in Borough Building at a cost of $1,800. Motion seconded by! Hope Peterson. Purchase of 318-320 Brown St.  Mindy Dugger motions to authorize Secretary Tim Pisula to secure certified funds or wire transfer approximately $11,791.21 to Mark Rowan Trust Account to complete the purchase of this property.
