The Mayor stated that the only repairs to be fixed in the creek had to be damaged by Hurricane Lee. Gail said there is a flat walll by Pine Street that needs tol bel looked at.  rents to.  Mayor Milbrand stated that he will look at it tomorrow with the foreman.    Willy Marshall- 903 N. Shamokin Street - He: asked about the cell tower that is goingi in the cemetery area. He wanted to know what the status is oft the tower. The Mayor stated that the tower is scheduled to bel built. They are checking thel land to make sure that the there are no leans Bob Gilligbauger- 320 N Rock Street - He is a Landlord and a maintenance man. He doesn'tthink weshould pass the Landlord/tenant Ordinance just yet. We should wait until we notify alll landlords then we should pass the ordinance. The Mayor stated that this is the: second reading ofs said ordinance and they Landlords had 30 days prior to review and ask any questions on said ordinance. Richard Fuedule Attorney - Is here on behalf of Bob Gilligbauger - He: stated that thel Fair Housing Resolution that we passed could have issues with the New Landlord/tenant ordinance. Joseph Leshinskie - 518 E. Pine Street. Hei is here in favor oft the new Landlord/tenant ordinance. We need to put thisi into effect and we need to make sure that we follow the new ordinance to the max. Hel has aj property by his house that has an owner from New York and has not even been at the property in over two years. There are six feet high weeds coming into his deck. He: stated that we need to follow every rule and put pressure on the landlords. Joseph also wanted to commend the Tim Vincent - Community Service - Asked ifthere is anything we as a City can do to help Rev. Bowers with God's Chuck Wagon building. Clay Street- He: stated that he called the CBC: about the mosquitoes around his property. His neighbor has eight drums full of old rain water and there are tons of! bugs from them. The water inside them is black, they do not clean them. There are kids and elderly people in that area and it's a public nuisance and can be very bad for their health. Yellow lines have been painted in different section; please call police  ifyou have any yellow lines were people are parking.  PUBLIC SAFETY: Councilman Brown read the Code office report fort the month of August which the  office revenue collected was $9694.70with total calls of 48. Police Department reported 1234 calls for the month of August.  Fire Department had 142 calls for the month of August. All apparatus in working condition.
