Rick: sent a letter to the owner of the property and has yet to hear from the owner. Rick did go out the first time she called but nothing has yet tol be done with the busted sewer line. Rick will go up tomorrow: and go Christine's property at 10am.' Thisi is al health hazard, she has called DEP and they said they will call Rick but we have not received a call from them. Judge John Gembic - Isl looking for the City's Help with a work release program where inmates could come and help the city tear down properties at a cost of the dumpster, or they could rehab properties. Judge Gembicasked for the citys help with this. Judge Gembic stated some facts that he looked up atl his office. From 2014-2016 Rick has 650 cases for the code office while Coal-Township has 205. In all those cases Judge Gembic has not found anyone not guilty. Code is doing a wonderful Sharon Tlcozynski and Brenda Walsh- 24 S Franklin Street. Brenda's parents are afraid to stay in their home. They have people knocking on their door at alll hours of the night. It smells like garbage and it is terrible to live there. Mr. Verano Stated that the code office an come over and look at thej property tomorrow, and the mayor has asked the Police to do more patrols overi in that area. job here in the City of Shamokin. PARKS & PUBLICI BUILDINGS: The Pool Made over $4,000 more this year: so far than last year. The Street Department replaced the: slide on Sunbury Street that was damaged. The Pool had CPR and Rescue Training. The Street Department is looking into getting new garbage cans down town. STREET & PUBLIC MPROVEMENTS: Grass in front of people's residences needs to be cut and cleaned up, we will not tolerate who does not keep with their sidewalks al break.
