Mrs. Vaughan read a proclamation urging all Washington County citizens to keep their animals warm and safe from the elements and to be especially cognizant of their needs during extreme weather conditions. She stated that the previous year, 1,000 calls were handled by the humane society, with 300 of the calls made during cold and extreme weather. Mr. Maggi read aj proclamation declaring. January 9,2015, as Law Enforcement Day, encouraging all citizens to recognize alll law enforcement in support of all they do to keep everyone safe from harm.
