Evans, Business Administrator RE: 2 Gasoline Accounts Date: December1,2022 InJuly, $240,000 in transfers were made into 12 Gasoline accounts across the General Fund to cover the drastic increase ini the price of gasoline that began in late 2021 and early 2022. Prices did moderate somewhat in the second half of the year, and the estimates used in. July proved to be fairly accurate. The final bills arrived for 2022 and 16 oft the 18 Gasoline accounts ini the General Fund have enough balance to cover the final bills. The Fire and EMS accounts are the 2 accounts that will need small additional transfers to cover the remaining balance oft their final bills and the following request will provide the needed funding.
