May 30, 2024, Assistant Planning Director, Liz Lose, provided al Letter of Plan Consistency to the Centre Care for a proposed PA DCED Greenways, Trails and Recreation grant application for a Therapy Garden. Centre Care's Director of Development and Community Outreach, Mr. Steven Miller, notified our office of their intent to make an application requesting financial assistance for the construction of a Therapy Garden. The Therapy Garden will allow the facility's residents the ability to receive outdoor physical therapy which will complement the indoor physical therapy rooms adjacent to the garden. A design narrative and layout schematic provided shows that the Therapy Garden willi incorporate outdoor exercise equipment, includes aj pathway with various ADMINISTRATION & ENFORCEMENT (5.24.2024) any adverse comment on the proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendment. AND RECREATION PROGRAM (GTRP) GRANT APPLICATION (5.30.2024) surfaces for walking rehabilitation exercises, and will bep professionally landscaped with native shade trees and shrubs. FFY2024DCED-CFA MULTIMODAL TRANSPORTATION FUND APPLICATION PLAN CONSISTENCY The County Planning Director received the following requests through Rettew for Letters of Plan Consistency related to Multimodal Grant Applications sponsored by the PA Department of Community & Economic Development and Commonwealth Financing Authority for the following municipal transportation projects. A. Boggs Township I Curtin Hollow Road Improvements (T-426): Project will reduce the elevation ofa curve, eliminate a dangerous S-curve, and repair sections subject to slope failures. The proposed improvements will eliminate the S-curve and result in a smoother transition in and out of the curve enhancing vehicle B.
