Eric Carter thanked Council and Manager Gutonski on what was accomplished this 1.No report at this time, the information from County 911 was not received; POLICE CHIEFS REPORT: Nothing at this time MANAGERS REPORT: Manager Gutonski reported: completed by summer2017 1.Around December 26, 20161 the 4th Ave Bridge repair will begin, the repairs are to be 2. The Budget, if passed will have no tax increase or utility rate increases, the Borough ended the year with $130,000.00 which can be put toward infrastructure 3. She stated that the Military Banners are paid by individuals and not the Borough or Recreation Board. She stated that the Recreation Board has purchased additional Tarentum Borough Banners for each entrance into the Borough. She reported that Gray Department & Summit Hose 2016at 1:30pm Signs is doing a great job on the banners. 7. Carrie. Discuss new ordinance proposals for: ALandlords and or property managers to live within 15 miles of their rental Greg Schmitt stated that something needs to be done with these properties. Mr. Regoli questioned the legality oft this and stated he needs to check intoi it B. Yearly rental privilege fees for landlords, the same as business privilege since they are basically running a business. The fee will be $25.00 per year Discussion was held on who would be enforcing the fees. C.A Annual property and fire inspections for all businesses within the Borough Discussion was held, who would do the inspections, Chris Fabec stated he does the inspections for the bars and personal care homes, and he would do properties further the inspections.
