Roll Call: President Bianchi - present Mr. Estocin - present Ms. Henkel = present Mr. Nolan = absent Solicitor = present Mr. Osman = present Mr. Spencer - present Mrs. Tinsley - absent Mayor Forgie - present Approval of the November 2023 minutes: Motion Ms. Henkel, Mr. Osman approving the November 2023 minutes as submitted. Motion carried. Correspondence: Human Services Center Mon Valley looking for volunteers for their free tax preparation from January to April. No experience necessary, will train. Contact number is 412-437-8229. Citizens Reports: Anna Lawson-376 Highland Avenue-Requested Council review the road condition of Sanderson Alley. Are there any plans to resurface the roadway? Council will have the Engineer look into the issues. Committee Reports: Mr. Bianchi- The Tentative Budget meeting for the 2024 budget will be held on Monday. December 18, 2024 ate 6:30p.m. then will be on review for 10 days and the Final 2024 Budget meeting will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2024 at 6:30p.m. Page 3 Ms. Henkel- None Mr. Osman- None Mr. Estocin- None Mr. Spencer- Removal of the handicap spot in the vicinity of 319 James Street. The Police and Public Safety Committee has concluded that stop signs in to be installed on Maple Avenue. Stop signs to be installed at the corner of Maple Avenue and Charles Street in both directions. Motion Mr. Spencer, Mr. Estocin approving the installation of stop signs at the corner of Maple Avenue and Charles Street. Motion carried. The Police and Public Safety Committee recommends the hiring of Part time Police Officer, Rose Mizak, at the rate of $22.40 an hour.
