Penatzer, Mayor Eric Miller, Electrician Robert McCormick, Street Commissioner Thomas Susko, Electric Secretary Karmen Baumgardner, Ron Portash (Mainline News), Jim Silva (Representative Rigby's Office) and Nate Persio. Jim Silva, from Representative Rigby's office would like Council to appoint one: representative for Council. By the consensus of Council, Eric Miller is appointed, and a letter will be sent to Nate Persio questions Council as to why a sidewalk is not being erected in front of his residence and three of] his neighbor's, that it's an eye sore. Mayor Eric Miller explains that Council decided on the pathway of the easiest resistance. Mr. Miller states that possibly the contractors could remove the old sidewalk and plant grass in its place, ori it could possibly be replaced when another grant is received, with other options for next year. The Welcome to Summerhill signs quotes has been investigated by Counci'woman Terri Washko, with Gaston, who did the 125th printing for the small signs. Budgeted for signs is $3,922.00, with Council to decide what they would like on them at a later date. Street Commissioner Tom Susko reports that the pavilion roof continues to leak, with Council instructing him to get quotes for both ai metal and shingle roof for the next: meeting. Mr. Susko has also received quotes for. Jackson Street and West Jackson Street for the replacing of the curbing and two old catch basins, from the intersection of Jackson/West. Jackson Streets down to thel borough line; over 1000'; Danchanko at $88,542.00 and Moyers at $64,500.00. No further Organic weed killer for the playground was: researched by the Street Commissioner, only to: find out that what he purchased from. Agway, was indeed not organic and was returned. He would like to borrow the torch from Croyle Township to see ift the weeds can be burned out, instead of using the weed killer. He will spray the curbs and try to torch the playground. The Street Commissioner would also like to point out, that several quotes have been received for several different projects, with Council not making decisions, and work still needing tol be done. Therefore, Councilman Russell Jones will give al list of twelve old projects to Councilwoman Becky Templeton that are currently outstanding, to be reviewed at the next meeting. Electrician Robert McCormick reports to Council that a letter of support for the Dollar General store, that Summerhill Borough will provide the electric, with phases needing tol be updated, several poles tol be replaced, at an approximate cost of $30,000.00. Mr. McCormick will give the Information from American Municipal Power will be researched, for grants to update for LED lighting throughout town. Poles and transformers will need to be replaced.
