The minutes from Laurel Municipal Inspection Agency were discussed, with the next meeting There was: no meeting held for thel Forest Hills Regional Alliance last month due to COVID, and possibly the next meeting will be on September 23md, in Summerhill Borough at' 7:00pm. The monthly activities report for Croyle Township Police for the month of August had nine incidents. Old Business: There were eleven delinquent light accounts on the September report, with three certified letters tol be sent out and one shut off. It was to be noted that shut offs is allowed, even with COVID. This way bulbs will be handy, when needed. Council agrees. Councilman Brad Bodenschatz reports concern over a cluster of four trees at the new Dollar General, that the sewer lines that are being erected, when the roots from the trees are uprooted, they will fall directly on Summerhill Borough's! power lines. Mr. Bodenschatz would like the Residents continue to let their grass clippings on the sidewalks, even with the new sidewalk ordinance inj place. Therefore, Mr. Bodenschatz will get addresses, a form letter will be drafted, company to be notified regarding the issue, with Council agreeing. and letters will be sent accordingly. The estimated Liquid Fuels monies for 2021 is estimated tol be $15,179.84. Street Commissioner Thomas Susko will contact Mike Bowser, from the state, to get estimates on the alleys around town for next year. The crack sealer grant remains pending. Councilwoman Becky Templeton remarks that she will hold two budget workshops in the month ofOctober. Ifa all heads of committees could submit their suggestions to her, that would make Some discussion was held regarding a walk behind roller, whether to repair it, sell it, possibly get a6'x1 12' trailer for it, costing approximately fifteen hundred dollars; with Council suggesting to possibly put the cost of the trailer in the budget for next year, in order tol keep the roller.
