The paving project for 2021 has been completed by HRI, Inc., inspected by Mike Bowser from Councilwoman Becky Templeton will complete the letter to the residents and remark about the gravel on the sidewalks, the three-foot clearance in all directions around the electric meters, cameras at the dump site, meter updates, along with other informational items around town. The street laborers will clean the gravel from the sidewalks this year, as a courtesy. The Eagle Scout project at the ballfield should be completed by the weekend of the 16th. Councilman Russell Jones reports that the tennis court. has an old pole sticking out of the ground, which will be removed being it's a liability, that there is a hole in the chain link fence at the tennis court that will need to be repaired, the cracks will be sealed on the tennis court, and he would like to also seal the basketball court, but will wait to see the plans that Ms. McGough has for her project. There is also one employee that continuously does not wear his safety glasses, and he has been told several times. Council suggests giving him a written notice now, have him sign it and place it in his folder. Signposts will be replaced on Bridge, Croyle and New Germany Road, several other streets around town: need to be paved and the curb painting is almost complete, with the exception of Second Avenue due to running out of the yellow traffic paint.
