It was the consensus of Council to Councilman Russel Jones received aj phone quote from Sturdy Mountain Fence to replace the fence at the volleyball court for $2,600.00. Mr. Jones questions Council if he can purchase a weed burner for approximately $37.09 and a twenty-pound propane tank for around $60.00, with it being the consensus of Council toi move forward with the purchase. He also reports that the park has been vandalized, with juveniles pulling the fence posts out, damaging the concession stand door, with himself and Councilman The crack sealer materials have been placed onl hold for purchase until the machine is in service, along with Mr. Jones getting the road signs and posts, but will still need eight signs and two posts, costing approximately $500.00, which would put him over budget. Representative Frank Burns will be contacted to see if there are any grants available for such things.
