Additionally, Act 205 requires municipalities that wish to receive a distribution oft the Foreign Fire Insurance Tax to certify whether its fire protection service is provided solely by paid or by volunteer firefighters, ori if provided by both, thej percentage ofactual fire protection service provided by each type of firefighter. The certified information on form AG-385, along with data supplied by thel Public Employee Retirement Commission, is used to compute a municipality's allocation ofstate aid for pension plans and/or volunteer firefighters' reliefassociations.
