After the main line is in place all the way through town, the contractor will come back through once again to excavate andi install  the lateral connections. RECREATION COMMITTEE Item 7A: Dog Park  Jacoby, Miller & Owatt  Thel Borough applied for a $30,000 Mini-Grant through the Southern Alleghenies Planning & Development Commission. American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees have commenced for the current contract expiring on. December 31, 2022. Recommended Action- No action required at this time.  3    Item 11D: Resolution #2022-10:  The Borough was requested to apply for a grant on behalfofNathan'sl Divide for paving and. other improvements to thel North Center Street access roadway, al boat launch, and several parking areas for the upper reservoir. In that regard, Council has been provided with a draft of Resolution #2022-10 which 1) authorizes the application fora a $1,875,996 grant through the Multimodal Transportation Grant, and 2) authorizes appropriate Borough officers to execute After further investigation by staff, it was determined that thej proposed project is not consistent with the current Lease and Licensing Agreement between the Authority and Nathan' sl Divide. Asa ai result, it was anticipated that thel lease issue would be discussed at the. Authority meeting Clearly, the Borough cannot and should not authorize submission ofa grant for a project on Municipal Authority property unless the Authorityi is ini full agreement toj proceed with said project, and unless both the Authority and] Nathan's] Divide have made a firm commitment to promptly revise/update thel Lease and Licensing Agreement in a manner that is necessary to Furthermore, the Borough was advised by Nathan' 'sl Divide that the required match for this grant could or would be waived.
