Sincerely, Luke Byrne Executive Summary During the month of July, the Ebensburg water treatment plant treated 23,570,000 gallons of reservoir water. This equates to an average of 760,323 gallons per day. The table found in plant performance of this packet showcases past month's historical An average of 57,520 gallons per day was purchased from Saltlick and blended into There was one power outage during the month and staff was able to get the plant back Quarterly requirements involving plant shut down capabilities were tested and found to Lead and Copper bottles with sampling procedures have been distributed to selected residents within the distribution system. Results from these samples will be used to determine lead and copper compliance for the 2022 monitoring schedule. Over the past few months Inframark has been performing a complimentary leak detection service for Ebensburg. All leak detection equipment has been returned to the borough due to expiration of agreement. Five leaks have been discovered and communicated to the publics work director with one repaired. In addition to these leaks, our weekend operator discovered a visual leak (south center street) over one weekend Inframark met with Stiffier McGraw to discuss current permits for chemical injection points and chemical storage. We also discussed rebuilding the raw water valve. Inframark would like to thank the Borough employees who came. out and took care of the grass at the water treatment facility. Service clarifiers Monthly Report Page 1 Operations Compliance: Whati is the monthly compliance reporting? We send about 10 pages of data that have been collected by our operators and SCADA system. These reports consist of over 20,000 points of data that are compiled into a report and sent to the state every month called the Monthly Operating Report" (MOR). This report is a representation of how well the plant is operating during the prior month. Monthly Compliance reporting for August is being compiled and will be submitted Disinfection by-product samples were collected July 5, 2022. Sample site 701 results for Haloacetic acids (HAA5) were above the MCL. Inframark notified PA DEP and completed a Tier II public notice that was issued August 5, 2022. Every month we are required by state regulations to collect and analyze a minimum of nine bacteriological samples per a state approved sampling site plan. In July, we collected nine samples. Of the nine samples zero were found to be total coliform positive. Every month we are also required to monitor chlorine levels in the distribution system. A minimum of one sample per week is required and the sample must be at equal to or greater than 0.20mg/L free chlorine. Four samples were collected in July and all four samples were at or above the Calibrated online and lab instrumentation to conform to PA DEP requirements.
