The regular monthly meeting of Ellport Borough Council was held on the above date in Council Chambers, Ellport Borough Building. Present were Vice-President Takacs and Council members Tomon and Mazzant. Absent were President Boy and Council member Gebhardt. Also present were Mayor Cisco, Solicitor Minett, Secretary Christy and employee MacDonald. A motion was made by, Mazzant and seconded by Tomon to accept the minutes of the November 21, 2022 meeting as re- ceived. A roll call vote was taken with all voting yes. Motion passed General Fund - $356,139. Fuel Fund - $73,272. Memorial - $1921.. An motion was made by Tomon and seconded by Mazzant to accept the treasurer's report. VISITORS: 2023 Herb Cratty requested the use of the Community Center on March for the 5K racers, after the race. A motion was made by Tomon and seconded by Mazzant to allow use of the Center to the racers at no cost on March 4, 2023. A roll call vote was taken with all voting yes. Mo- Bill Hughs asked, if the new zoning ordinance has progressed and Mayor Cisco reported that police spent 43 hours on patrol, had Christy reported that the Authority is applying for a grant to help pay for the repair of the main sewer line on Sixth Street through the PA Small Water And Sewer Systems grant program. She also reported that Authority meetings will continue to be held on the third Thursday Tomon reported on the Sheeler field grant progress.
