The regular monthly meeting of Ellport Borough Council was held on the above date in Council Chambers, Ellport Borough Present were President Boy and Council members, Takacs, Building. Tomon, Gebhardt and Mazzant. Also present were Mayor Cisco, Solicitor Minett, Secretary Christy, Joe MacDonald and Justin Neupauer. An executive session of Council was held prior to the meeting to discuss personnel matters and information from Council President Boy and Solicitor Minett. A motion was made by Takacs and seconded by Gebhardt to ac- cept the minutes of the January 16, 2023 meeting as received. A roll call vote was taken with all voting yes. Glass, Office Manager of the Department of Planning & Community Development, that the Countywide Demolition application has been updated for Lawrence County, in add- A copy of Resolution-R-2023-44 was received from Joseph Venasco, County Administrator, resolving that the Lawrence County Board of Commissioners approves the contract between the County, of Lawrence and Ellport Borough for consideration of services which the will provide to Ellport Borough in the assistance of completing County the Borough's Zoning Ordinance at a cost to the Borough of $500.00 to the Carol Cable questioned Council about a house on Martin Avenue which she considers a nuisance due to junk cars, and the alley behind the house often blocked and Martin Avenue also often blocked. President Boy advised that Council has been working on an ordinance addressing junk cars and Ellwood City police officer Magnifico explained there has to be a violation taking place and people have to be that willing tot testify in court.
