The regular monthly meeting of Ellport Borough Council was held on the above date in Council Chambers, Ellport Borough Building. Present were President Boy and Council members Takacs, Tomon, Gebhardt and Mazzant. Also present were Solicitor Minett, Secretary Christy, Joe MacDonald and Justin Neupauer. A motion was made by Mazzant and sec- onded by Gebhardt to accept the minutes of the February 20, 2023 meeting as received. A roll call vote was taken with all voting yes. Memorial Fund - $1,921. A motion was made by. Takacs and seconded by. Tomon to accept the treasurer's report. A roll call vote was taken with Notification was received from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that a Municipal Liquid Fuels Payment was being made to the Borough Motion passed unanimously. TREASURER'S REPORT: General Fund - $323,894. Fuel Fund - $112,107, all voting yes. Motion passed unanimously. COMMUNICATIONS: VISITORS: in the amount of $44,000.37. for infrastructure projects. Blanche Novak asked if any grants have been applied for and was in- formed that both the Borough and the Authority have applied for grants Mayor Cisco was absent and Solicitor Minett provided a brief re- port which included $768.48 billed for overtime and 56 calls received. Christy reported that the Authority had the three Townships, Perry, Wayne and Franklin at their last meeting to discuss inflow concerns. Tomon reported that a check was received from the Ellwood City Amateur Baseball Federation in the amount of $635.00 for the use of A motion was made by Mazzant and seconded by Gebhardt to adopt Resolution #2 of 2023, stating that R.A.R. Inc. is authorized to per- form engineering duties for the Borough of Ellport for the Sheeler playground project. A roll call vote was taken with all voting yes. MAYOR'S REPORT: SEWER REPORT: ARKS/RECREATION: electricity at Sheeler fieldin 2021 and 2022. Motion passed unanimously. OLD BUSINESS: Zoning Ordinance - no action taken Junk Car Ordinance - Solicitor Minett advised that he expects it to be advertised and ready for adoption at the April 17, 2023 mtg.
