Sincerely, Michael Montgomery Pump Station Pictures Executive Summary During the month of August 2023, Ebensburg wastewater treatment plant treated 18,446,100 million gallons of wastewater. This equates to a daily average of 595,000 All testing and operational requirements were met for the month of August. Centrifuge operation was run weekly for the month of August and 9.513 tons of sludge gallons per day for the month of August. was sent to the landfill. Ont the Radar U.V. wiper system seals installed and complete. Cleaning out of drying beds complete. Operations Compliance: SBR tank testing is done for process control purposes on Monday, Wednesday, Influent and effluent compliant testing is done for reporting to DEP on Tuesday All data is entered into WIMS daily for E-DMR monthly reporting. Monthly reports are sent to DEP electronically by the 28th of each month. and Friday. and Thursday. Plant Operations Industrial Park and Emerald estates pump stations checked daily. Plant rounds and equipment checks made twice daily. Checked oil and belts on blowers daily. Influent and Effluent samplers checked daily and operating properly. Ran centrifuge weekly for the month. Influent screening unit hosed and cleaned daily. Swept and hosed influent building floor, centrifuge building floor, centrifuge Hosed and cleaned U.V. trough, bulbs, sensors twice for the month sludge dumpster area. Maintenance & Repair Sent 3 SBR mixers out for repair Influent screening unit auger needs repaired. Technician will be on site asap to repair unit. Sincerely, Luke Byrne Executive Summary During the month of July, the Ebensburg water treatment plant treated 26,670,000 gallons of reservoir water. This equates to an average of 860,323 gallons per day. July 2023 production indicates an increase of 100,000 gallons per day in water when compared to July 2022. The table found in plant operations of this packet showcases An average of 57,247 gallons per day was purchased from Saltlick and blended into On. July 5th, disinfection by product samples were collected in Ebensburg's distribution system. The results were found to be under half the maximum contaminant level at both sample sites for HAA5's. When calculated, these low results have allowed Ebensburg's system to achieve compliance and avoid issuing a public notice this On July 7th, Inframark began operating the Ogden tank chlorine booster station. Chlorine feed equipment was set up and a dosing plan was created. Water quality analysis and operations of the chemical feed equipment are conducted daily. On July 12th, Inframark hosted a tour for Saint Francis University's water reclamation academy. Professor Mr. Tasker and his students were very grateful for the opportunity to tour Ebensburg's treatment facility. lwould also like to thank the Authority for allowing Inframark to host events like this at Ebensburg's facility. Over the past several months Inframark has been checking in on the WWTP pumping stations to assist with additional monitoring at these facilities. On July 13th we discovered the Emerald estates pumping station was in alarm and failing to pump. We also discovered the dialer for call outs at that location was turned off. Working together with borough staff, we were able to fix the motor pumping issues and restore the dialer On. July 26th, PA DEP collected raw water samples monitoring for cyanotoxins in the raw Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company conducted annual inspections of the WTP's boilers. Both boilers passed the inspection and certifications Kaza Fire Equipment performed annual inspections and renewal of four fire past month's historical average flows. Ebensburg's distributions system. quarter. to enable call outs. water source. There were no detects in the sample collected. were renewed. extinguishers at the WTP. The downstream by-pass flow valve has been operated several times throughout the month to meet the instream flow requirement of 270,000 GPD. We send about 10 pages of data that have been collected by our operators and SCADA system. These reports consist of over 20,000 points of data that are compiled into a report and sent to the state every month called the "Monthly Operating Report" (MOR). This report is a representation of how well the plant is operating during the prior month July monthly compliance reporting was collected and submitted to PA DEP Every month we are required by state regulations to collect and analyze a minimum of nine bacteriological samples per a state approved sampling site plan. In July, we collected nine samples. Oft the nine samples, zero were found to be total coliform positive. Every month we are also required to monitor chlorine levels in the distribution system. A minimum of one sample per week is required and the sample must be equal to or greater than 0.20mg/L free chlorine. Four samples were collected in June and all four samples were at or above the Inframark submitted a study/plan to PA DEP detailing historical water loss and future plans to address unaccounted for water.
