The regular monthly meeting of Ellport Borough Council was held on the above date in Council Chambers, Ellport Borough Building. Present were President Boy and Council members Mazzant and Tomon. Absent were Takacs and Gebhardt. Also present were Solicitor Minett, Secretary Christy, Joe MacDonald and Justin Neupauer. A motion was made by Tomon and seconded by. Mazzant to accept the minutes of the July 17, 2023 meeting as received. A roll call vote was taken with all voting yes. Motion passed unanimously. TREASURER'S REPORT: General Fund - $430,719. Fuel Fund - $112,292. Memorial Fund - $1921. A motion was made by Mazzant and seconded by Tomon to accept the treasurer's report. A roll call vote was taken with all voting yes. Jeff Richardson of Richardson Inspection Services, LLC, presented Council with a proposal for services as a building code official to "enforce and administer Act 45" within the Borough any "any other Ordinances at the Municipalities discretion".
