FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT- The Auditors continue to work on our 2020 and 2021 audits. A date to report on these has yet to be set. OPERATOR'S REPORT - Written Report is attached. ENGINEER'S REPORT - The 2023 Chapter 94 Report for the portion prepared by Adam and Dave are ready to be forward to Stiffler McGraw for final preparation and review. INFORMATION- Estimated delivery dates for the stand-by generators purchased in January 12, 2022 have been adjusted again. We are told to expect the Mackey Run 240-volt unit to be delivered in late February or early March with the Outlet Plant 208-volt unit about a month later. HOWEVER, the Outlet Plant 208-volt unit was delivered to the contractor's site on February 14. Both units are to be delivered to the Electrical contractor's location and can be transported to the site and installed thereafter based on weather and ground conditions. CONTINUED BUSINESS: / Arrangements for the 2023 "Sewer Gala" are now in flux. The February 16 date conflicted with the Barn's Community Dinners and sO we tried to move the Gala to March. We now know that the Inn is closed completely for renovations during March and April. We will search for an alternate location or an alternate date. Stay tuned for updates! EAGLES MERE BOROUGH AUTHORITY 2/15/2023 NEW BUSINESS: Agenda Pete Swinick has suggested that the Authority forgive or adjust the sewer fees charged to the The EMB Authority by-laws specify that officer elections occur in February of each year with a term of one year. The officers may be "Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary and such other officers as shall be, from time to time, deemed appropriate." The Solicitor of the PA Municipal Authorities Association confirmed, in response to my question, that Officers of the Authority can be elected regardless of their membership on the Authority Board and regardless of their employment status with the Authority or Borough. Elections require a majority of votes of the entire Board (currently six members or four votes) not just the number Fire Company due to their minimal use and their good works. present and making up the meeting quorum.
