Marie Baker Borough Manager, John McCormick  Public Comment Period 1  Jane Dauber - 2670 Sortman Ave addressed the council on their decision to not take action on petition from the residents of Sortman Ave in August Meeting to Paul Kropp - 2690 Sortman Ave - would like the street also turned into a two way Tim Greenabaum- - 247 Valley St t-is at the end of Sortman Ave and supports the Motion #1 was moved and seconded (Jeff Kreger/Harry Rogers) to approve the previous month's council meeting minutes dated August 3, 2023.  turn the street back to two way traffic.  street again  two way traffic as well. Nomination Motion 2nd Yes No  Abstain Absent  X X X X X X X X  X  Tax Collector Dottie Mertz reported 90.55% of residents have paid real estate taxes to Solicitor- - follow up on Fire Agreement for Fire Service Update, Council has the copy of the revised agreement and solicitor asked what next steps council wanted him to take. Council has decided that they would like the solicitor to take the suggestion from the Mayor and revise the agreement with those and any other council input and give final draft to Borough Manager sO they could dot final review and agreement could be Motion #3 was moved and: seconded (Shawn Millard/Mike Rodgers) to approve changing Sortman Ave from one way traffic to two way traffic. Motion #3 carries by a Unanimous Vote (6-1)  approved in the October meeting. The Borough Manager will follow up with what it cost to do at traffic study as this is a state road and will need to discuss who will enforcei it.
