RESOLUTION:2018-16  AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF  OF THE BOROUGH OF CLARK'S SUMMIT  FOR FEDERAL  RESOLUTION COMMISSIONERS OF  LACKAWANNA COUNTY TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION  BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FUNDS IN THE  FISCALYEAR 2018 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BOROUGH OF CLARK'S SUMMIT.  AMOUNT OF $99,212.00 ONI BEHALF OF THE WHEREAS, the County of Lackawanna, application for FFY 2018 Community Development on behalf oft the Borough of Clark's Summit; and, WHEREAS, the Borough accordance with said Act 179; and,  in accordance with Pennsylvania Act 179, has elected to submit an  Block Grant Program funds in the amount of $99,212.00  of Clark's Summit desires to participate in the CDBG Program for FFY 2018 in  the Borough of Clark's Summit has examined the community development needs of the  WHEREAS, community, and especially the needs of the lower income residents ofthe community; and,  WHEREAS, the Borough of Clark's Summit has established a Community Development Program and Budget for FFY 2018 in compliance with the allocation and guidelines oft the Pennsylvania Department of Community NOW,THEREFORE, BE: ITI RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough of Clark's Summit that the following Community Development Program and Budget be communicated to the Board of Commissioners of Lackawanna County for inclusion in the County's CDBG Program application for FFY 2018 on behalf of the  and Economic Development.
