Connellsville City Council Minutes November 15, 2016  This regular meeting of the Connellsville City Council was held this evening at 6:00 PM at City Hall, Connellsville, PA. Attending this meeting was Mayor Lincoln, Council members Keedy, Karpiak, Tzan and Mcintire. Also attending was City Clerk Ohler and Solicitor Witt.  PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND MOMENT OF SILENCE:  Reminder of the procedures for public participation during City Council meetings.  REMARKS FROM VISITORS/PUBLIC COMMENTS: Council does not cut the funding to the Carnegie Free Library.  John Malone, Carnegie Free Library Financial Reports, Budgets and Items. He requests City  Chuck Hubble, Polio Pennies CITYTREASURER'S REPORT: Absent CITY CONTROLLER'S REPORT: Absent  CORRESPONDENCE:  Bruce IJaynes, Resignation letter, effective December 31, 2016  Resolution No. 11-1-2016: "To accept the resignation letter from Bruce IJaynes, City Mayor Lincoln thanked Bruce Jaynes for stepping up to the role and helping the City out when needed. He also stated he understands his reasoning and wishes him the best. He noted they are $30 per Resolution No. 11-4-2016: Tor ratify and enter into at three-year collective bargaining agreement with the Connellsville Police Officers' Association. Mayor Lincoln thanked the City Clerk, Councilman Keedy and Cassie and Joyce. Everyone  worked hard to put this together.  Could not make out what Councilman Keedy stated.  A vote upon the adoption of the resolution resulted as follows: Affirmative were Councimembers Tzan, Keedy, Karpiak and Mcintire and Mayor Lincoln. Public' Works Report  Councilman Karpiak stated working on this year's budget was the smoothest and easiest he has  Councilman Karpiak reminded residents when it snows the City reverts to the parking on odd even sides of the street. He noted this allows for the snow plow to make it up and down the Mayor Lincoln thanked the Street Department fori their work during the winter storms.  streets.  TZAN:  Counciwoman Tzan announced the parks are closed for the winter. Counciwoman Tzan announced the Recreation Board needs members. Mayor Lincoln stated the Recreation Board is an active and fun board.
