PUBLICSAFETY UPDATE- STREETLIGHT CORRECTION & issue -t trying to get a program put together with EmergyCare, waiting on some information and will soon AMBULANCE PROJECT (19) Mr. Fike opened discussion regarding 2024 Paving & Tar/Chip. Mr. Leofsky gave information based 2024 PAVING &1 TAR/CHIP on thel list that was provided to council and reminded that al base bid has to be approved to then approve DISCUSSION an alternatel bid. He recommends no paving this year in order for it to be done right. Holding back this year would allow other projects to be completed to see how everything comes together and to save: some of the money to put toward a larger paving project next year. Mr. Leofsky also feels al larger project next year would be more enticing to contractors. Tar/Chip = we need sealing done on some streets we did last year (20) Mr. Fike requested a motion to advertise for the 2024 Tar/Chip bids. Motion was made by Mrs. (21) Mr. Fike also spoke regarding the ambulance coverage he and Mr. Maloney have been working on." They've made some headway - ift things continue to get held up, they will go whatever direction the need to go to make it work. It's very important for all residents to have the coverage they need and deserve. Conversations have been had with the other three townships - not sure on the support we will get but they arei interested.. Just waiting on the meeting with EmergyCare and making sure we have (22) Mrs. Lindstrom requested a motion to approve event request for the Solar Eclipse Viewing on April 8 as presented with no closure of Main Street.
