Borough Building Merchant Street DPW decorated: many areas for Christmas including: PJCaul Park- including getting the Christmas Tree: for the Gazebo Hung Lights and Wreaths ini thel Historic District New Banners and Over-the-Road Display on 11th Street in thel Midtown District Wreaths in the Downtown Crew cleaned upl Merchant Street and] PJ Caul Park for the Christmas Parade. DPW bagged all Parking Meters on Merchant Street for Free Holiday Parking through January g". Red F-5501 Dump Truck- - Main! Hydraulic Line was replaced on November 10". Sign maintenance is on-going, replacing missing signs and repairing damaged locations. Christmas Treel Recycling will start December 27th and will runi through. January 31st. DPW will pick them up at the curb or residents can drop them off at the DPW Yard on 11" Street. Ongoing maintenance has been dedicated toi filling pot-holes and repairs to multiple alleys. Foreman responded, marked and reported multiple PA-One Call requests. Parks: Mrs. Miller reported that the Borough was awarded a second grant, this one from Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and] Natural Resources, in the amount of$74,000, for the Panek] Park and g"St. Park Improvements Project. Manager Kauer stated that this grant will enable the project tol be Engineer Suehr reported thatt the 20171 Road Project is now complete. He also stated that the Borough's MS4 permit has been renewed. Thel PA: DEPI had some concerns with the proposed Pollution Reduction Plan. The Engineer will looki into possible remedies to remaini in compliance with Equipment Maintenance: Salt Hoppers arei in the Trucks - ready for winter 100% grant funded.
