The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them Construction means the erection ofar new building or the alteration of an existing building in connection with its repair or renovation or in connection with making an addition to an existing building and shall include the replacement of a malfunctioning, unserviceable or obsolete faucet, showerhead, toilet or urinal in an existing Kitchen faucet or kitchen faucet replacement aerator. Without limiting the foregoing, such acceptable design methods may include for multi-family buildings the Peak Water Demand Calculator from the APMO/ANSI 2020 Water Efficiency and Sanitation Standard for the Built Environment, which accounts for the demands of water-conservingl plumbing fixtures, fixture fittings, and appliances.
