Proclamation Recognizing National Library Week - presented to Doraville's former Mayor Geierman presented aj proclamation recognizing April 23-29, 2023, in the City of Doraville, as National Library Week, April 23-29, 2023, to Tammy Henry and recognizing Library Director Tammy Henry her service to the city library. VI. PUBLIC COMMENT Sigrid Hagrid, former resident ofl Doraville, wanted to thank the staff, Mayor Geierman, and the City Council for their support of Carver Hills community. VII. CONSENT AGENDA 1.1 Resolution Authorizing the City of Doraville to enter into an Opioid Settlement Council Member Alexander made a motion, a second was made by Council Member Evans, to adopt the resolution authorizing the City of Doraville to enter into an Opioid Agreement. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 1.A-23-04-Amendment to Chapter 23 (Zoning Ordinance) of the City of Doraville to amend zoning procedures law to reflect changes to state law. (Second Read) Naomi Siodmok, Director of Planning and Community Development, presented the ordinance to update the zoning procedures needed to bring the city in compliance with House Bill 1405. She provided answers to questions raised at the last meeting. Council Member Alexander made aj motion, a second was made by Council Member Evans, to approve. A-23-04 the amendment to Zoning Ordinance to comply with newly state laws.
