INVOCATION Mayor Harkness opened the meeting by leading in prayer. 2. CALLTO ORDER Mayor Harkness called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mayor Harkness requested to amend the agenda striking CONSIDERATION OF GARBAGE TRUCK QUOTES and ADOPTION OF INCREASED WATER/SEWER RATE: STRUCTURE. A motion was made by Councilman Allen to approve the agenda as amended and was seconded by Councilman ACTION: The motion to approve the agenda as amended was unanimously approved (4-0). 4. Mayor Harkness directed her to refer tot the county or GDOT about the car counter as she is not within the city limits of Demorest. Mr. Musselwhite stated he would ask the water works director about the marking of the water lines and call her. 5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 14 Mayor Harkness called for a motion. The city'stotal expense is $14,029.38. Ar motion was made by Councilman Allen to purchase the Harris Radios from the vendor Communications International and was seconded by Councilman Bennett.
