ATTENDEES Rebecca Godwin, Chairman Jim Welborn, Vice Chairman Shawn Allen Christy Ryals  Megan Chastain, City Clerk Rebecca Brantley Lynn Percy  The November: 1, 2023, Downtown Development Authority meeting was held ini the Demorest Municipal  Conference Center located at 250 Alabama Street. AGENDA ITEM1: CALL TO ORDER Rebecca called the meeting to order at 4:33 p.m. AGENDA ITEM2: APPROVAL OF AGENDA  Shawn requested to amend the agenda adding HABERSHAM HISTORICAL SOCIETY. AI motion to approve Action: The motion to approve the agenda as amended adding HABERSHAM HISTORICAL SOCIETYwas  the agenda as amended was made by Shawn and was seconded by Rebecca B.  unanimously approved (5-0).  AGENDAI ITEM3: APPROVAL OF OCTOBER MINUTES  A motion to approve the minutes as presented was made by Shawn and was seconded by Rebecca B. Action: The motion to approve the minutes as presented was unanimously approved (5-0).  AGENDA ITEM 4: FARMHOUSE COFFEE LEASE/SUBLEASE There will be further discussion after review by Mr. Mitchell. AGENDAI ITEM! 5: HABERSHAM HISTORICAL SOCIETY  DDAI reviewed the redline lease presented by PU although it had not been reviewed by the city attorney.  Shawn presented the proposal oft the Habersham Historical Society leasing a room in the City Hall complex for $1 a year. He explained that they would combine in with the history room sO they would only need one room. Council agreed at the last meeting to allow Mr. Mitchell to prepare al lease. A motion was made by Shawn to lease a room toi the Habersham Historical Society and was seconded by Action: A motion to lease aroom to the Habersham Historical Society was unanimously approved (5-0). AGENDA ITEM7: CONSIDERATION OF ENTERING INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION  There was not an executive session. AGENDA ITEM 8: MOTION TOADJOURN  A motion to adjourn was made by Lynn and the motion was seconded by Christy. The motion was  unanimously: approved.
