CALL' TOORDER Mayor. Joseph Geierman called the meeting to order. II. ROLL CALL Mayor. Jospeh Geierman, Council Members Gerald Evans, Andy Yeoman, Warren Simmons, Stephe Koontz, Maria T. Alexander, and Christopher Henshaw were present. III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE IV. APPROVAL OF MEETING, AGENDA Council Member Alexander made ai motion, a second was made by Council Member Henshaw, to approve the agenda as submitted. The motion carried unanimously (6-0) AYES/ YES: Evans, Yeoman, Simmons, Alexander, Koontz, and Henshaw NAYS/ NO: None ABSTAIN: None V. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGINITIONS 1.) Expression of Thanks to the City of Doraville from GFCBW Atlanta Chapter Lucy Lu with the Global Federation of Chinesel Business Women presented to the Mayor Geierman and Council an Expression ofThanks for the support the city has given this organization. VI. PUBLIC COMMENT-I None VII. CONSENT AGENDA VIII. REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS 1.City Manager Monthly Report Meeting at. Assembly on June 21 at 8 am regarding the performance bond, continue to see issues with narcotics in the area, conversion of software for permits - Cecil has had to get involved, special service districts are almost complete, budget for new fiscal year is underway, and the façade grant was successful - wel have awarded almost the full $250k. Paving and Stormwater projects continue to be done throughout the city. The City Council asked questions and guidance for the City Manager. IX. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 1. CUP-23-03- Request for Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for an electronics resale for the property located at 5275 Buford Highway, in thel Pinetree Plaza shopping center. Naomi Siodmok, Director of Community Development, made aj presentation reminding the Council oft the request for the Conditional Use Permit (CUP). Planning and Staffboth recommended approval oft the use. The City Council shared comments and asked questions Council Member Evans made ai motion, a second was made by Council Member Koontz, to approve CUP-23-03 ai request for a conditional use permit for electronics resale for the property located at 5275 Buford Highway, in Pinetree Plaza shopping center. EXECUTIVE SESSION Council Member Alexander made ai motion, a second was made by Council Member Koonz, to go into executive session regarding land, legal, and personnel matters.
